WORK IN THE COUNTRY

Sir, —May L air my grievances? Where are all the girls and women who are out of work and would gladly <ro anywhere and do anything for a home? 1 want a girl or woman who can cook good plain meals and help mind two high-spirited children, and it seems to me I might as well ask for the moon, f would have an even chance, anyway. 1 have advertised, answered advertisements, and what did 1 get? No answers. Because we ask them to come 18 miles out of town they do not bother, as that is too far out. What would happen to New Zealand if all the farmers and their wives decided they lived too far from town? Perhaps some of the so-called unemployed would reply through your paper and say why they will not leave town Too Far Out.
