ACCOMPANYING CONDITIONS MR. B. S. STEVENS' VIEWS (Received October 2, 7.23 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 2 The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, who returned today by the Aorangi from his trip abroad, discussed the prospects of a renewal of immigration to Australia. "Before that happens," Mr. Stevens said, "we must have assurances of cooperation from Britain and from the Commonwealth Government. We must know that their monetary, trade and investment policy will be such as to provide a continuous increase in tho volume of profitable employment available for both men and money in Australia."
