ROMANTIC NOVEL
Miss Margaret Langmaid lias already established herself as a writer of excellent romantic novels, and lier new book, "MacAdam and Kve," fully comes up to lier previous standard. It is tlio story of a, marriage between a young and beautiful actress and a Scottish, serious-minded country doctor some years her senior. Things go sadly awry at first between the strangely assorted pair, but Georgia Leo is not quite as scatter-brained as sho seemed, and the two eventually pave their way to a lasting happiness. This is a very charming romance written with much delicacy and perception. "MacAdam and Eve," by Margaret Langmaid. (Hodder and Stoughlon.)
