MOUNT EDEN BAPTIST
The 51st annual meeting of tho Mount Eden Baptist Church was held on Thursday. The Hev. J. D. Jensen presided. Tho membership roll showed that there were 122 active members of the church out <>!' '2o'!. Tho Sunday School attendance averaged 111 pupils eaeli ounday. I'lje financial slatemcnt showed that the church had iniproved its position by i'2l in the year. Mr. J. Maxell Barker was re-elected secretary, and Mr. [{. ('. J. Smith honorary treasurer. An anniversary tea was held before the meeting, ard among those present was Mr. J. A. Penman, a ♦oundation member of the church.
