LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
The September meeting of tho VVaimauku branch of the League of Mothers was held in tho hall recently, Mrs. T. Charter presiding over a good attendance. After an address by Mrs. Charter, the meeting took tho form of a members' afternoon. Three new members, Mesdames Blako, Gillies and 0. Wintrour, were welcomed. Songs by Mesdames Blake, Fray, sen., and Miss M. Watts and a humorous item by Mrs. C. Jackson were enjoyed. The hostesses were Mesdaanes «J. L. Mr ay and Walker.
