BY-ELECTION RESULT
INDEPENDENT'S VICTORY SYDNEY, August 31 Polling took place on Saturday in the by-election for the Vaucluse seat in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly'rendered vacant by the death of Mr. YV. F. Foster. The poll resulted in an easy victory for the Independent United Australia Party candidate, Mr E. M. liobson, over the official Australia Party candidate, Mr. H. C. Foster, son of-the former member. Mr. Robson had a two-to-one majority.
