RIOTS IN UKRAINE
CORN FOR SOVIET ARMY INCREASE IN TAXATION Times Cable LONDON, August 30 The correyondent of the Times in Riga, Latvia, states that 30 people were killed, 100 wounded and 2500 arrested as the result of riots in the Ukraine. The riots were duo to an increase in taxation and the requisitioning of corn for the Army.
