PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS

RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC . BY-LAW TO BE FRAMED Provision is to be made in a by-law to require motor drivers to give right-of-way to podestrians using defined orossitig-places in the city, and also to restrict drivers from stopping their vehicles so as to obstruct the crossings, as a result of a resolution passed by the City Council last night. The superintendent of traffic, Mr. C. Bland, reported that it was necessary to safeguard in this way podestrians using the defined crossing-places.
