WHAU VALLEY CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday A successful season and a sound financial position were disclosed at the annual meeting of the Whau Valley Tennis Club. The following officers were elected: —President. Mr 8. Oidcorn; vice-presidents. Messrs. D. S. Kerr, A. McMillan; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. L. M. Oidcorn; club captain, Mr. A. McMillan; vice-captain, Mr. D. S. Kerr; committeo. Miss Olsen, Mrs. A. McMillan, Messrs. C. Saul, O. Richards, V. Dickey; •rustees, Messrs. 8. Oidcorn, L. Smeal; handicap committee, Mrs. McMillan, Messrs. 0. Saul, A. McMillan: delegate to ftorth Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. 0. Richards. CLEVEDON CLUB'S SEASON [from our own correspondent] CLEVEDON. Monday A year of marked progress was shown by the report presented at the annual meeting of the Clevedon Tennis Club. The financial statement disclosed i profit of £34 on the year's working. The following officers were elocted: —Patron, Mr G. 11. McCullough; president, Mr. D. Ryburn; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. J. Core, Jf. Ortim and A. D. Bell; honorary members, Messrs. F. Hopworth, A. Bryers, und 11. Alexander; auditor, v Mr. F. Hopworth; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Dawe; delegato to the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. E. Z. Burton; captain, Mr. D. F. Ryburn; vicecaptain, Mr. R. T. Bishop; committee. Misses J. Munro, M. Ryburn, 11. 8011, It. Smith. Z. Stephens, B. Dow, and Messrs. A. S. Bell, J. Morris, L. Lane, D. F. ltyburn. C. Hill and R. T. Bishop; grounds committee, Messrs, A. S, 8011, D. F. Ryburn,. R. Lane, R. T. BiBbop; tournament and handicapping committee, Misses J. Munro, I. Stephens, and Messrs. R. T. Bishop and J. Morris. It was decided to open the season on September 26.
