RIFLE SHOOTING
WHANGAREI MINIATURE CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGARFI, Saturday The final of the Mrs. W. Yarrow trophy and a further round of the D. E. Wilton trophy were fired last evening by members of the Whangarei Miniature "Rifle Club. The evening's trophy was won by J. Barron with the score of 95, 5—100.. Other pood scores were:—F. Cowan, 00, 3—99; F. Williams 97, I—9S; K. Lynch, 07, I—OS- J. Courtney, 02, 5 —07; A. Higgins, 08, scr—o(i; K. Waters, 89, 7—9(5; F. Ching, 93, 2—95; F White, 92, 3—95; M. Sheriff, 92, 3—95;. T. S6, 9—95; J. CaHer, 92, 2 —94; M. Stewart, 93, scr—93; H. Foster. 00, 3—03; R. Jennings, 91, 1—92; R. Fitzgib bon. SS. 3—91. The Mrs. W. Yarrow trophy was won by F. Williams with a total store of 759. Othei good scores were:—k. Fitzgibbon, 780; R. Lynch,V7So; F. White, 779; M. Sheriff, 778; F! Cowan, 770; A. Higgins, 700; R. Jennings, 7(>S; H. Foster, 707; K. Waters, 754; M. Stewart, 752; W. McKegg, 740. The Buckley Rooster was won by T. McKegg.
