OTAGO REGIMENT

AUCKLAND REUNION A reunion of members of the Otago Regiment, N.Z.E.F., resident in Auckland, is being arranged for August 25, the anniversary of the capture of Bapaume in 1918. In addition to Otago men who were living in the South when war broke out and who enlisted in the southern regiment, but who nro now in Auckland, a great many men from Auckland were posted to the regiment because, owing to tho comparative smallncss of its population as against that of tho North, Otago was - not always able to supply the quota of men for oorli reinforcement. It is expected that there will be to 200 men from all parts of Auckland at tho reunion. The provisional committee in charge of the arrangements comprises Messrs. A. ,T. Whvte, chairman, R. Phillips, secretary, D. M. Rae, J. Hines, D. Glanfield, R. Quinn and J. L. Scoullar. The reunion will be tho first of the regiment to be held in Auckland.
