CAPTAIN PROSSER FOR MATUA

In view of the approach to completion of the transtasman express liner Awatea, of 14.000 tons gross register, and the fast motor-ship Matua, which is being built for the Islands fruit trade, it is announced by the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Limited, that Captain A. H. Davey, of the Monowai, has been selected to command the Awatea, and that Captain A. H. Prosser, late of the Waimarino, will take command of the Matua.
