How can 1 bring my kitchen up-to-date?" In search of the answers to these and similar questions, hundreds of women visited the Ideal Home and Building Exhibition held recently in Melbourne. An important feature was the popularity of light-coloured woods and the lavish use of curved surfaces and looking glass. ''One particularly simple and restful sitting room shows modern furnishing at its best," writes a correspondent on the subject.
