A post-mortem is being held. The sea-lion was the first at the Zoo for several years and was notable on account of its small size, being only three feet long. However, three sealions of a Californian species are expected from San Diego in a few ireelu. riUNEDIN'S ATTRACTION SHIPMENT TO WELLINGTON [BT TELEGBATEF—OWN CORRF.SPONDE.VrI Tuesday Dunedin will say good-bye to-morrow morning to the sea lion which, for some months past, since it came ashore from the sea, has been the subject of more or less acrimonious discussion. By skill and cunning it was to-day inveigled into a crate and . placed in a yard ready for shipment by the Waitaki, which will sail to-morrow for Wellington, where sanctuary has been found for the sea lion in the zoo.
