KNOCKED DOWN ON BRIDGE [BY TELEGRAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION'] DANNEVIRKE, Tuesdsr While proceeding from Dannevirke, after school, to his home at Papatawa, Claude William Burlaee, aged 14, son of Mr. W. L. Burlaee, was knocked down by a car and killed on the bridge on the main road near the Dannevirke racecourse. The car was driven by Mr. Thomas William Raymond Skerratt, of Masterton. The lad's death was practically instantaneous.
