MISSING FROM HOME
RESIDENT OF CAMBRIDGE CLOTHING ON RIVER BANK [from our own ■correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday A search is being made for Mr. H. Cropley, aged about 45, a resident of Cambridge, who has been missing from his home since Saturday afternoon. Last evening his clothing, containing £2 in money and personal property, was found 011 the banks of the Waikato River. As Mr. Cropley's bathing suit is missing from his bedroom it is presumed that he went for a swim in the river 011 Saturday afternoon. His clothing was found at about 9.30 last evening by a young man, Mr. R. Parker, of Hamilton, who, with some friends, was walking along the river bank near the Duke Street Wharf. Mr. Cropley, who is a mercer, came to Cambridge about five months ago and purchased a business. Ho was at his shop on Saturday morning and remained there until the usual closing hour. He was last seen in the street in the early afternoon.
