OBITUARY
FORMER VICTORIAN PREMIER FOUNDER OF COUNTRY PARTY (Received February 24, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Feb. 24 The death has occurred of Mr. John Allen, a former Premier of Victoria, aged 70. He was one of the pioneers of irrigation in northern Victoria and also was one of the founders of the Country Party.
