SPEEDY RUNNER
AMERICAN'S PERFORMANCE NEW YORK, Feb. 23 Gene Venzke re-established himself as one of the leading American runners at the coming Olympic Games when at the Madison Square Garden last evening he broke the world's indoor record for 1500 metres in the amazing time of 3m 49.95. He beat his old rival Glen Cunningham by two yards.
