PLUNKET WORK

NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the Northcote committee of the Plunket Society was well attended. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, presided. The nurse, Miss Joan Carmichael, reported that 209 visits had been made to. the Northcote rooms during the month, the visitors comprising 87 adults, 81 babies and 41 older children. In addition, 36 homes had been visited, including 16 new cases. Voluntary transport had been provided by Mrs. R. C. Morley, Mrs. Noel Stewart, Mrs. N. J. Campbell, Miss Bettina Edwards and Miss Myrtle Lepper. Miss Jean Stewart was thanked for supplying motor-car transport in an emergency. Mrs. L. Hayman was appointed convener of transport during the absence for two months of Mrs. Campbell, who is to visit Australia.
