BRIDGE EVENING
WAIKATCK LYCEUM CLUB
A successful hostess evening was held in the Lyceum Club lounge, Hamilton, on Wednesday. There was a large attendance of bridge players and 29 tables were engaged in play. The lounge was arranged with bowls of azaleas. Iceland poppies, arum lilies, aquilegias and foliage. The prize-winners were: —Auction, Mrs. Brewer; hidden number, Mrs. Watt; contract, Miss Jolly. The hostesses were:—Mrs. C. L. MacDiarmid, who wore a gown of black lace; Mrs., J. M. Horton, in black cire crepe; and Mrs. St. L. H. Gribbon, black and pink tunic frock.
