REPERTORY THEATRE

An entertaining comedy, " Mary. Mary, Quite Contrary," was presented at the roorus of the Garrick Repertory Theatre in Warwick Chambers. Written by St. John Ervine, the well-known London dramatic critic, the play is a satire on actors and play-writing. The audience fully appreciated the quips and sallies with which the play abounds. The roles were played by Gladys Barton, June McGinly, Betty Atkinson, Gladys Martin, Antionia Martinengo, Grace Cambridge, Brian Fisher-Betts, James Sharpe, Mick Orr. John Snadden and Albert Charlton. Among those present were:—Mesdames Brookes, Kissin and Mortimer, and the Misses Moore, Boardman. Sharpe, Reed, Browne and Gilmore.
