THE SHERIDAN PLAYERS

Tho Sheridan Players held their closing night for the season on Tuesday, when an enjoyable function was held in the Fabian Club's rooms. There was a large attendance, Mrs. W. H. Brooks, assisted by members of the committee, acting as hostess. Three one-act plays were presented, tho first being "Tho Understudy," a comedy by A. M. Miall, which was produced by Miss Eileen Stenson. The players were the Misses Marjorio Kyle, Arawa Heron, lwa Pearson, Joan Moody and Eileen Stenson. The second play was "The Patchwork Quilt," a fantasy by 11. L. Field, tho producer being * Miss Joan Steele. The players were tho Misses Kathleen Stenson, Nancy Warren, Nanco Lamb, Nell McDonald, Jacqueline Heribel and Pcggv Steele, and Mqssrs Howard Newcomb and Terence Barton. Tho third play was the drama, "Tho Sister Who Walked in Silence," by Philip Johnson. It was produced by Mr. Los. Ryan and acted by the Misses Marjorie Kyle and Dora Dunbar and Messrs. Les. Ryan and Sam Stevenson. Songs were rendered by Mr. Alex. Gear and elocutionary items by Mr. Jim Sharp. The accompanist was Mr. P. Simpson. After the production of tho plays supper was served by the committee, and dancing brought a pleasant evening to a close.
