WORK FOR SAILORS
BRITISH SOCIETY MEETS Reports of tho various activities of the British Sailors' Society were presented to tho annual mooting held in the Baptist Tabernaclo schoolroom last evening. Mr. H, B. Burnett presided. Mr. N. Holloway, ships' visitor, referred to tho three points of contact with sailors, through visiting tho ships, through tho hospitality providod at tho society's hall, and through Sunday services. Ho also spoke of tho largo amount of correspondence that was carried on between sailors and the society's workers. Miss Hod gk in son, hospital visitor, gave an outline of the work in her department, and Mr. W. T. Brand referred to early seafaring life, emphasising the advantages of missions to sailors at the present time. A short address on "Sorvico" was given by Dr. Alexander Hodge. , ' Two solos were given by Miss Blomfield and Mr. 11, Williams. Tho accompanist was Mrs. Brane-Clark.
