HOMESTEAD DESTROYED

FAMILY'S HURRIED ESCAPE PRACTICALLY NOTHING SAVED [bx telegraph OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Tuesday A fire during the early hours of this morning destroyed the homestead and contents on the farm of Mr. A. Zellman at Omokoroa. Tho family was awakened by the fire at about 1 a.m. The flames then had a firm hold, and the occupants of the house had to make a hurried escape. Practically nothing was saved. The insurances are held by tho State office, being £BOO on the house and £l7s* on the furniture.
