D Trendall, M.A., who was also a post-graduate scholar in arts in 1931, has been granted a renewal for 1936 of the Home scholarship in archaeology, together with other scholarships. Next month he will again proceed to Italy to continue his re- . searches into ihe pottery of southern Italy. He returned last May to Trinity College, Cambridge, from visits to Continental museums and his archaeological work in Rome.
