Expenditure.—Salaries and wages, £2361 12s 3d; printing and stationery. £l2 2s; fuel and light, £77 8s lOd; freights, £lB 8s 2d; advertising, £l2; hardware, £23 19s; building repairs. £34 7s 8d; paints and oils, £l2 Is 4d; X-ray equipment, £ls 2s 8d; coal and coke, £l9 6s lOd; seeds and plants, £2B 8s 2d; water, £25; newspapers, etc., £l6 2s 2d; total, £2724 5s 6d. The total loss for the past year was £1639 2s Id.

Except for the library, which showed a profit of £lO, all departments showed a substantial loss.
