NORTHCOTE FREEMASONS
ANNUAL LADIES' NIGHT I Tho annual ladies' night of Lodge Onowa, New Zealand Constitution of Freemasons, was held on Saturday in the Masonic Hall at Northcote. The large gathering was welcomed by the worshipful master, Mr. W. J. Parlour, who was assisted by his wife as hostess. The latter wore a frock of black panne velvet and white fur coatee. The Grand Lodge was represented by Mr. H. G. McCrea, past grand deacon; Lodge Albion, Devonport, by Messrs. G. G. Chambers, W. M. and G. F. Bartley, 1.P.M..; and Lodge Auckland by Mr. C. C. Turner, I.P.M. The floor arrangements were in the charge of Mr. 0. E. Dowsing, junior warden. The Merrymakers Orchestra provided the dance music and extras were played by Airs. N. 11. Harris. An enjoyable programme included songs by Miss E. Berry, Messrs. A. J. Hodder and Albert Borrows, flute solos by Mr. T. Kenderdine, monologues by Watson, cornet solos by Mr. Fred Bowes and violin solos by Mr. Vincent Aspey. The accompanist was Mr. Peter Black. During supper the toast of "Tho Ladies" was proposed by Mr. Parlour, the responso being made by Mr. G. D. Stewart, senior warden. Among those present were: —Mrs. G. Taylor, rose blush lace; Mrs. T. C. Wheatley, prune crepe de chine and lace; Mrs. C. E. Dowsing, black georgette; Mrs. H. H. Macdonald, pink taffeta; Mrs. H. Nightingale, violet satin; Mrs. W. Couldrey, black velvet; Mrs. C. G. Ashdowne, chenille georgette; Mrs. A. F. Sharpe, floral georgette; Mrs. H. E. Morgan, black panne velvet; Mrs. T. Johnstone, fawn laco; Mrs. A. J. Hodder, maize satin; Mrs. F Johnston, Nile green crepe; Mrs. G. H Edwards, lime moss crepe; Mrs. C. M. Turner, scarlet crepe; Mrs. S. Osborne, mauve georgette; Mrs. A. Tremain, black satin; Mrs. W.
