LATE MR. C. E. GOOSMAN

AN IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday The funeral of the late Mr. C. 13. Goosman, secretary of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and a well-known trotting handieapper, took place to-day. There was a cortege of 8o motor-cars from his lato residence in Ulster Street to the Hamilton East Cemetery, where the interment took place. The Rev. H. G. Gilbert conducted a service at the house and officiated at the graveside. Among those who attended the funeral were representatives of trotting and racing clubs, the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association and similar associations, local bodies, athletic organisations, and many owners and trainers of trotting horses and members of show associations. Many beautiful floral emblems were laid on the grave.
