ONEHUNGA SCHOOL FAIR

A well-attended meeting of parents Jind supporters of the Onehunga school was held at the school last evening to discuss the prospects of holding a fair in order to raise funds for further equipment. It was decided to hold an indoor fair in August, the date to be arranged at a later meeting. Offers of assistance were received and a large committee was set up. The various stalls were allocated to committees with power to add. The conveners appointed are as follows: —Tea rooms, Mrs. P. Billings; preserves. Mrs. E. Beckett; cakes, Mrs. R. Bissett; knick knacks, Miss J. Gow; jumble. Mrs. A. Gow; handkerchiefs, Mrs. R. M. Mountioy. The produce and other stalls will be dealt with at a later meeting.
