SCENIC RESERVE PLAN

WHANGAREI. Friday

The Whangarei Twenty Thousand Club has decided to make application to the Government, .through Mr. A. J. Murdoch, M.P., to acquire the Whangarei Falls, about five miles from Whangarei, for the purpose of a national scenic reserve.

The club has .also decided to ask the Whangarei Borough Council, County Council and Harbour Board to assist in approaching the Government.
