PATIENTS IN HOSPITAL Lacerations to one hand wore received by Joan Colman, aged 11, of Clark Road, Papakura, while driving a horse and trap yesterday afternoon. The reins became entangled in one of the, wheels, and the child's hand was caught. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. An improvement took place yesterday in the condition of Mr. Morven Alexander Mac Master, aged 22, of Kohimarama, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Monday suffering from a fractured leg and concussion, received in a collision between his motor-cycle and a motor-car in Epsom. Mr. Mac Masters' condition last night was no longer serious.
