MEN'S AND LADIES* EVENTS [from our own correspondent] TAUMARUNIJI, Monday The Taumarunui Golf Club held its annual Labour Day tourney to-day in fine weather. Competitions were held for men and ladies, large entries being received. Following were the results in the men's events:—Labour Day championship, R. Parker (Hamilton) beat L. G. Spencer (Taumarunui) in the filial by 4 and 3; Tarrangaro handicap, T. C Conway; third division handicap. A. W. Richter; fourth division handicap, A. Gray; medal handicap, T. Farrell; first bogey bandicap, P. D- Smith; second medal handicap T. C. Conway; second bogey handicap, xt. P The r iadics' events resulted :-Labour Day championship. Mrs. Richter beat Miss W.
