TIN-HARE RACING
MEETING AT HAMILTON [fbom oub ovns* ccwrbespokpext] HAMILTON, Sunday Tip-hare racing was seen for the first time in the Waikato on Saturday, when the Hamilton Coursing Club held a meeting at its ground at Whitiora. Owing to the •unsettled weather conditions the attendance WM not large. The programme consisted of two events, both of which proved exciting and keenly-contested raeas. At interval* throughout the afternoon exhibition races w#re run. The results are as follows:Waikato Stake.—First heat: Bold Spee won from Great Peter and King Blot. Second heat: Peter Pathian won from King Paysh and Puriri Jack, Third heat: Croppy Boy won from Kohara and Ringo Jim. Fourth heat: Mosquito Gir! won from Storm King and Tall Timber. Fifth heat: Broughshane won from Ring True and Bonny Emerald. Final: Mosquito Girl, 1; Broughshane, 3; Bold Spec, 3. Consolation Stake.—Storm King. 1; Great Peter. 2. Also started:: Ring True, Ringo Jim and Black Lancer.
