VICTORIA CLUB'S RACE The Victoria Pigeon Flying Club flew Us first race of tho second Beries from Te Kuiti, an air-line distance of 106 miles. Results:— Messrs. Tu«ker and Bright'* b c c Aircraft, 1366.57 yds per minute. 1; Mr. F. Tucker, senr.'s b c h Queen Nona, 1.184.07yd5. 2; Mr. A. Clark's r c h Bed Hope, 1303.98yd5, 3, Ten loft* competed. HIKURANGI CLUB [FROM OUS OW corbsspqndsnt] WHANGAREI, Saturday The Hikurangi Homing Pigeon Club held am interval race from Wansanui, when one bird from each loft was liberated at 15minute intervals. The birds had adverse weather conditions to contend with, the visibility being bad. and a strong head wind. Mr. E. Hsaell's was the first bird to fee liberated, and it was the only one to reach home on the same day, thus winning the trophy. The bird wa# that of Mr. H. Codling, which flew a very good race.
