SOUTH WALES VICTIMS GENEROUS RELIEF FUND PUBLIC SUBSCRIBE £300,000 (Received October 18, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Oct. 17 Members of the relief committee which is acting in connection with the recent disaster in the Gresford Colliery, North Wales, calculate that the total of the national contributions to the fund for the assistance of dependants of the victims will amount to about £300,000. Having regard to the workmen's compensation and widows' pensions, which the relief fund will supplement, this sum, it is stated, will be adequate for the maintenance of the dependants.
