McKay defeated E. Apperly, 5 and 4. The winner played a steady game up to the greens and putted more accurately than his opponent. He Avon somewhat easily. This was the first time McKay had played in an Australian final. Apperly, who won the title in 1920, failed to reproduce yesterday's form. The final of the professional championship will be played to-morrow.
