Oct. 17 A wireless message from the Byrd Antarctic expedition at Little America states:— Spring activities have commenced. The first of the sledging parties has ytartod on a three months' exploration trip to the Edsel Ford Range and Marie Byrd Land. The members will carry on geological research and survey work. The tractor has returned from the Boiling base with Rear-Admiral Byrd's personal gear and scientific records. Mr. June and his crew are on the way back from Mount McKinley.
