FOOCHOW NORMAL AGAIN British Wireless RUGBY, August 17 Latest reports from Foochow, South China, indicate that apparently everything is quiet, if not entirely normal. For some time the port jiad been menaced by the approach of Communist forces. These are being gradually suppressed north of the port, and the river is reported clear of them as far as Yenping. Tho main bod.v of tho insurgents moved toward Leinkiang with tho troops of the 49th and 87th divisions of the Chinese Army in pursuit.
