LATEST ENGLISH MATCHES BIG SCORES REGISTERED LONDON, August 17 Among the outstanding performances in the English county cricket matches which terminated this afternoon, were centuries by four players who are in the list of those, called up for the final test at the Oval. Three-figure scores were made by Sutcliffe, Hammond, Gregory and Woolley. Gloucestershire scored 608 runs for 1 seven wickets declared, against Sussex, and there were several other high aggregates. ' Freeman took 14 wickets for Kent, and Goddard 11 for Gloucestershire. Details of the results are:— GLOUCESTERSHIRE V.
