A WOMAN FINED £ls [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday • In the Police Court to-day Mrs. Adeline Florence Grimwood, aged 30, was charged with carrying on the business of a bookmaker. She was lined £ls and costs. The police said detectives visited accused's shop in Oxford Terrace, as the result of complaints and found a quantity of betting material. Tho hots were small, and it seemed that accused had been working as an agent. She said sho had been ill, and took up book' making to supplement her income.
