Mr. Oliver Nicholson returned to Auckland from Wellington on Saturday morning.
Mr. P. J. O'Regan, of Wellington, was a passenger from Wellington by train yesterday morning.
Professor G. S/* Peren, principal of Massey College, arrived from Palmerston North by train yesterday morning.
Mr. H. H. Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board, was a passenger for Wellington by last night's limited ex. press.
Dr. Eric Maxwell returned to New Zealand by the Port Gisborne yesterday from England. He is at Hotel Stonehurst.
Sir Harold Beauchamp and Lady Beauchamp were passengers to Auckland by the limited express from Wellington on Saturday morning.
Mr. Justice Herdman left by the limited express last night for Hamilton, where he will preside over the criminal sessions opening there to-morrow.
The Hons. J. Alexander, A. Burns, T. Bloodworth, C. J. Carrington, E. Davia and J. Trevethick, ML.C.'s, returned to Auckland from Wellington on Saturday morning.
Mr. E. Varley Hudson left by the limited express last evening for Hawera, where he will judge at the music competitions. Mr. Hudson will return to Auckland at the end of tho week.
Lieut.-Commander 1. Macdonald, of England, who is attached to the Australian Navv, and Mrs. Macdonald arrived by the Port Gisborne from London yesterday. They are at the Grand Hotel.
Judge F. Schnack and Mrs. Schnack, of Honolulu, who, with their two sons, are on a visit to New Zealand, arrived in Auckland from Waitomo yesterday. They are at the Grand Hotel, and will return to Honolulu to-morrow.
Mr. A. Harris, Mr. W. J. Jordan, Mr. J. A. Lee, Mr. J. N. Massey, Mr. A. S. Richards, Mr. F. W. Schramm and Mr. A. J. Stallworthy, M.P.'s, returned to Auckland from Wellington by express on Saturday morning.
Mr. R. J. Pinder, of the Colonial Audit Office, who arrived at Wellington from England last Friday by the Akaroa, is at Hotel Stonehurst. He is accompanied by Mrs. Pinder and their children. They will leave fcr Suva by the Aorangi to-morrow. t
Dr. K. C. Morpeth, president of the New Zealand Dental Association, arrived by express from Wellington on Saturday morning to preside at the annual conference of the association, which will commence at Auckland to-day. He is at the Hotel Cargen.
