Wednesday The position to-day of the various queens in the carnival contest which is being held this week by the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union is as follows:—Pyes Pa (Miss Drummond), 1717; Tauranga (Miss Belle Turner), 1125; Omokoroa (Miss Ina Prole), 1218; Whakamarama (Miss Rundle), 529 Oropi Waimapu (Miss Clarice Hodges), 435.
