LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Henderson. —A meeting was held last •week when Mrs. Rewa Bennett gave an interesting address on the "Maori Woman of the Past." Owing to the resignation of Mrs. Stuart, Mrs. Harvey was elected president in her place. Remuera. —The second Remuera branch met recently, Mrs. Ford presiding. The provincial president, Mrs. S. O. English, and Mrs. F. 0. "Whvte, provincial secretary, gave addresses, the former on the aims of the League and the latter on the founding of new branches. Tokanui. —Mrs. F. H. Barnett presided at a recent meeting. Addresses were given by Mrs. Donaldson and Mrs. Pattison, of Kihikihi, the former upon aspecflS of home nursing and the latter dealing with bints to knitters.
