WEDDINGS
AUBIN—BERTRAM The wedding was celebrated last evening at St. Paul's Church. Symonds Street, Auckland, of Aliss Jean Bertram, second daughter of Air. I*. J. and Airs. A. H. Bertram, Mount Eden, to Air. John Emile Aubin, oldest son of Air. and Airs. E. H. Aubin, Kawhia. Tho Rev. C. A. B. Watson officiated. The bride, who was given away bv her uncle, Air. S. Sellars, wore a close-fitting frock of ivory wind-swept velvet. Her veil of Limerick lace was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of white lilies and asters. Her sister, Airs. McNeil, was matron of honour, and Aliss Ritys, Aliss Brodio and Aliss Alollor were bridesmaids. They all wore sheath gowns of mustard gold crinkle crepe with shoulder collars of velvet. Airs. McNeil wore a black pieturchat trimmed with gold, and the bridesmaids wore mustard gold toques. They carried golden sheafs. Masters Bruce Sellars and Ronald McNeil were pages and wore white satin suits. Air. P. Aubin was best man and Mr. L. Singleton groomsman. A reception was held at the Ritz, Airs. Bertram receiving in a wino marocain frock with velvet toque to tone and gold lame coat. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Airs. Aubin wore black satin and lace and black hat relieved with autumn tonings. She carried a bouquet of autumn coloured dahlias.
