NEW AMBULANCE STATION

PROVISION AT RAN GITOTO A St. John ambulance station, considered to be one of the best equipped of its kind in the Dominion, was opened at Islington Bay, Rartgitoto Island, yesterday by Mr. H. F. W. Meikle, chairman of the Rangitoto Island Domain Board. The station was built and equipped by the Islington Bay Shack Holders' Association, assisted by donations from Auckland business firms. The station consists of a casualty room, finished in white enamel, a bedroom and a kitchenette, and is fitted with all conveniences. It will he staffed bv members of the Epsom Division of the St. .John Ambulance Brigade every week-end throughout the year.
