FOR PLUNKET FUNDS
A bridge afternoon was held in the parish hall at St. Heliers on Thursday to raise funds for the local branch of the Plunket Society. Among those present were: Mesdames John Macky (president), J. W. Reid, A B. Rainer, E. P. Hutton. Nash, Moodie, Horspool, A. Brookfield, Jackson. Gisby, Taylor, Hogan, J. Green, Mc Arthur, Boyes, F. Price, North, Main, Wells, Hanson, Keenan, Baskett, Miller, F. Paton, Dodd, Inglis, Sanger, Norman, Duthie, F. Robinson. Victor Able, G. Neville, B. C. Chilwell, Hugh Brown, A. Pennellj J. Russell and K. Knight. Prizes were won by Mrs. Thompson (hidden number), Mrs. Keenan (highest number) and Mrs. Dicky (consolation).
