UNIVERSITY WOMEN

A meeting of the Auckland Association of University Women was held in the women's common room, University College, on Thursday evening, Miss A. V. Hay presiding over about 40 members.

Various matters of business were brought before tho meeting. A motion was carried, amending the constitution of the association, and a letter was received from a committee of the heads of secondary schools with regard to the censorship of films. It was decided to support the committee in this effort. Dr Buckley-Turkington, who has recently returned from a trip abroad, gave a talk on her experiences and impressions.
