CEREMONIAL PARADE
TERRITORIAL. UNITS MARCH IN QUEEN STREET A ceremonial parade of the Returned Soldiers' Guard and territorial units stationed in Auckland city and suburbs will be held on Tuesday evening, when a procession consisting of about .'SOO officers and men, with two bands in attendance, will march the length of Queen Street. The presence of detachments representative of many different units, together with the appearance of fixed bayonets, machine-guns and 6011). guns, should help to make an interesting parade. Lieutenant-Colonel J?. G. Milligan, D.5.0., will be in command and the adjutant will be Captain J?. S. Judson, V.C., D.C.M., M.M. The Returned Soldiers' Guard will lead the column in its march along Queen Street. The only unit on parade with fixed bayonets and carrying its colours will be the Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment. Two Yickcrs guns and ammunition equipment will bo carried on four pack-horses immediately behind the Ist Battalion. One section of the 20th Battery, Xew Zealand Artillery, will be mounted. The parade will include detachments of the following units: —Field and Coast Artillery; Ist Field Company, NewZealand Engineers; Northern Depot Corps of Signals; Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment; Ist Battalion, North Auckland Regiment; Ist Company, NewZealand Army Service Corps; Ist NewZealand Field Ambulance; loth Wellington Coast Battery.
