BRITISH PROGRAMME BOXING BOUTS TRANSMITTED (Received August 23, 8.35 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 23 The British Broadcasting Corporation's first televisioned programme completely satisfied experts. Two boxing bouts, one of four rounds between two London fly-weights, Baxter and Lewis, and an exhibition match between Rateri and Sexton (cruiserweights), were transmitted. Both reception and visibility were remarkably good.
