ETON COLLEGE MASTERS j THEIR MAJESTIES' SYMPATHY British Wireless RUGBY, Aug. 22 The King and Queen have sent a message conveying their deep and heartfelt sympathy to Eton College on the terrible loss it has suffered through the deaths of four masters while descending a mountain in the Bernina Alps, Switzerland. The victims, Messrs. Powell, Slater, Howson and White-Thomson, were buried to-day in one grave in the Protestant cemetery at Pontresina, near St. Moritz At Eton all the shops were shut and the college was closed to visitors for an hour.
